Vision
Our vision at New Life is simple…
BRING
people into believe
BUILD
people up to belong
SEND
people out to serve
Values
We value Christ – centered, Spirit Led;
Authenticity
We truly desire to practice what we preach. We desire to be authentic as the Holy Spirit leads us in accordance with God’s Word! Our World looks upon the church as hypocritical, not real, not realistic. We believe here, that being authentic and having authenticity in all we do is a non-negotiable value. We’ve got work to do in showing the world around us the incredible love of Christ.
community
Our heart is to work with on another, support each other, encourage on another to always pursue Jesus! When we meet we desire it to come from a place of relationship, rather than ritual. take a look at what God’s word says when we consider what community looks like through His lens, and how God calls us to walk in it with one another.
Hebrews 10:24-25, Galatians 6:2, Timothy 1:5-8, Acts 1:8
unity
We know that the Holy Spirit bring unity of heart and spirit with the church. After all, we can see in the early church that through obedience and unity, God worked in amazing ways among the people. The Lord doesn’t desire His church to be form-fitted into a mold that makes everyone the same… What He does desire is that His church be unified in the incredible diversity of gifts and skill sets that He has given to each believer for the sake of mission and ministry.
generosity
We’re well aware that all we have comes from the Lord. Understanding this encourages us to freely give back to God, and offer our time, talents, and treasure to see Him glorified! Our heart is to be exceedingly generous… whether that’s with supporting local missions, foreign workers, or using skills within the community. As much as God has freely and generously blessed us, we desire to give back to Him in finances and works.
Proverbs 11:24-25
Worship
Being a Christian is actually a lifestyle of worship… its beyond Sunday morning service! This means that our lives as believers extends well beyond Wednesday night Bible Studies, or Thursday morning prayer time. Worship s to be our entire life! It’s in every breath we take, and every move we make!
Romans 12:1
Discipleship
Doing life with people and training them up in the way they should go… that’s discipleship! We take it seriously here, and we offer many opportunities for folks to be trained in the Bible, and to be mentored by peers and more mature believers. Walking this life alone would be tough… that’s why we strive to do that walk together, and see people get to know Jesus along the way!
Matthew 28:18-20
